Do I need an OpenAI key to use the app?
Not to use the app itself. Without OPENAI_API_KEY the interface, tickets, knowledge base and automations all work, but AI classification, drafting and the chatbot return a clear configuration error. There is no simulated AI output anywhere.
Will the AI send email on its own?
No. The default reply mode is draft only. A workspace administrator can enable human approval, and only then auto-reply for specific categories. Automated senders, duplicates and suspicious messages are always excluded.
What happens if two people approve the same draft?
Sending is recorded on the draft. A second attempt is rejected because the draft is already in a sent state, and a content hash prevents the same message being sent twice.
How is my email data isolated from other customers?
Every database query is scoped to the signed-in user's organization on the server. A record belonging to another workspace returns 404 — the API never falls back to an unscoped lookup.
Can I self-host this?
Yes. Node 20+, PostgreSQL and a .env file are the only requirements. There is no dependency on a hosted control plane; Docker Compose is provided as an optional convenience.
Which payment methods are supported?
Stripe (cards and wallets), PayPal, and USDT through NOWPayments. Each is optional; if none is configured the billing page explains what is missing instead of offering a checkout that cannot work.
How do I change prices or plan limits?
Plans, limits and prices are defined in src/server/plans.ts and the provider price IDs come from environment variables. Nothing is hard-coded into the UI.
Is my data used to train models?
This application does not train models. When you configure an AI provider, your content is sent to that provider's API under your own account and their terms.
Does the chatbot work in all nine languages?
Yes. The widget renders right-to-left for Arabic and the assistant is instructed to answer in the visitor's selected language. Interface translations cover the shell and public site; see the documentation for the current coverage detail.
What is not finished yet?
The bundled documentation lists the known gaps honestly, including which surfaces are translated and which background jobs require the worker process.
